I would like to install in my own shower. I understand that everyone must cover themselves these days, but besides tarnishing, are there any other actual risks?

Technically, this product could be used in a wet area such as a shower; however, the shower-cleaning products available today and most people use in the USA are so strong that we can't guarantee the lifetime of the metal pieces under those conditions. The picture displayed indeed is in a shower area but in Europe. We show the picture to give a perspective of this product installed on a whole wall.
